no take a nap, mama
Today Matthew didn't get a nap ... I put him down for one, but he kept calling for me and stayed awake the whole time. So, tonight during family worship he was REALLY tired! He wanted to lay down the whole time. (Before I put him to bed every night we sing Psalm 117, so when he hears that Psalm he thinks he needs to take a nap.) We sang Psalm 117 and after he sang the first line he says, "No take a nap, mama." Then started signing again ... When we were praying he fell asleep and so I had to get him to brush his teeth before I put him to bed. He partially woke up when I gave him the toothbrush, chewed on it a couple times, said, "no take a nap" again, started twirling his hair and fell back asleep. Then I went to put him into bed and he woke up enough to say he wanted "Unca Scar" (a toy from Lion King) and then passed out again. We captured the moment in the pic as best as we could.

Cute Story
Earlier, I was looking at pictures of the cutest baby. I left the picture up on the computer and sat down in the dining room to do something. Matthew came out of his room and looked at the picture and said, "Awww." I didn't react to it, so he yells, "Mama!! Awww." To which I responded, "yes, awww." He wanted to make sure that I knew he thought 'Efan' was cute. Then later on in the night he wanted to look at the picture again.

Coosy Moster
Matthew has developed a recent obsession with the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. Every night before I put him to bed (and sometimes during the day) he asks me if the Cookie Monster is going to get him. Here's how the conversation goes ....
"Coosy Moster get me"
"No, Matthew the Cookie Monster isn't going to get you, you're safe."
"Nice."
"Yes, the Cookie Monster is nice."
"Cookies"
"Yep, he only eats cookies."
"Gwamma!"
"No, he's not going to get grandma."
I've been trying to figure out where he got this idea from, but been coming up with nothing. Just thought it was a cute story to report.

5 Things About Me ....
Well, I got 'tagged' by Amanda to write 5 weird things about me ... here it goes
1. I like to eat raw croissant and buttermilk biscuits (when I'm not pregnant).
2. I am very claustrophobic -- I get slight panic attacks in elevators. It freaks me out if my shoes are too tight and I can't freely move my toes, or if I my covers are too tight and I can't move my legs around.
3. I've listened to the Goodbye Audibles on Yahoo! Messenger hundreds of times because of a certain obsessed two-year old.
4. The clothes in my closet have to all be facing the same direction and on the same color hangers. My spices on my spice rack must be uniform.
5. Here's a real shocker ... I'm a very unorganized person! I try to get organized, but it backfires and I get more cluttered. I'm working on it, though!
Well, I hope this was as informative as you all hoped. :p
